- Join the Purple Dream Family
Become one of our Residents, just Submit Your Work with our submission form. We usually update our site every 15-30 days, and your submission could be posted with our next scheduled update, poetry can't wait. Read Terms & Disclaimer before submission.
- Index by Date, Writer and Title
Browse the list of publications sorted by Date, or by Title sorted alphabetically, also by Writers, poems are posted under Writers name. All index including a short preview of the content of each poem.
- Reader Suggested Titles
Readers can make suggestions on any article for other readers. New Suggestions are posted at the top of the list, and the oldest on the list is dropped, continuously updating the list. Currently the list holds up to 28 titles. "Suggest" Button located within each article.
- Favorite Votes
This is not a contest (Purple Dream does not believe in contests, we believe that Arts are not to be judged by a few, or even a hundred persons to determine the "artistic value" of the material). Our intention is to indicate our readers' Favorites among the articles they had read. The "Vote" button is located at the end of each article. Read Top Favorites.
- Spin-Off Pages
For the continuation of these Spin-Off Pages (chain-poems), writer can Submit Spin-Off poems to post, following the latest (related or inspired) poem on any Spin-Off pages. Start a New Spin-Off Page, by providing the "Title" of the other poem which inspired yours.
- Forum
Post your messages, questions and comments in our Main Forum. Residents and readers can communicate with each other openly. Residents can have their own Residential forums, if needed. Editor will scan the forum frequently, providing response and answers, if possible. Each article provides its own "Message" button.
- Subscribe Newsletter
Subscribe the Purple Dream notification Newsletters: we will send you a title list of all the newly published articles with every update, you will also be informed of any new scheduled chat sessions. Your subscription is confidential, and you can cancel at any time.
- Residents Index
The easiest way to lookup our Residents and their publications. This Residents Index provides indivdual links to each of the Residents publications (within in the pages of Publications Index by Writer).
- Residents Personal Websites
If you have 5 or more poems published on our site, get your Personal Website (http://yourname.purpledream.com). Purple Dream will create, update and manage your website. Use our Setup/Update form to setup, change URL, add/edit introduction and add/remove email address on your homepage. You can have an outside link of your choice in your website (as long as the link is directed to your own poetry related website).
- Chat Session
As our Resident, you can become one of our Chat Host and Setup chat sessions. We will announce the Schedule in advance to all our users. Our Chat Room features: user registration, user profile, private chat, count, font type, color, size and more.
- Game Room
Purple Dream Game Room provides a collection of games for your entertainment. There are 17 games installed: Chess, Crosswords, English16, Fiver, Gunner, Hanoi, Hex7, Hounds, Lander, Magic8, Maze, Peggy, Puzzle, Sliders, TacTix, Tarot Readings, Triplets.
